do it yourself mod

hello, youtube, and welcome to my first ever tutorial video. today, i'll be doing a tutorial on how to use schematica. so.......... ... the first thing you're going to want to do is build something. and as you can see right here, i've made a very, very beautiful house. ummmm...... it's super detailed and aesthetic! ummmmmm..... and.... i built it on my own private world.

"but, i really want to transfer it onto a server, so what do i do?" that's a great question, random viewer! the first thing you're going to want to do, is you're going to want to hit.... well, whatever button you have set. soooooo..... if i go down to schematica, this is what i personally like to use for my controls. you can set it to whatever you want. this is what i like. ummmm.... so!

whenever i say "add" i'm referring to this and so on and so forth. so the first thing you're going to want to do is you are going to want to hit "add"(+). and then you've got these two buttons, which are basically, if you use worldedit, the equivalents of position 1 and position 2. so, i'm going to hit "red point," "blue point," and then, i'm going to hit "on" so i can actually see them. so!!!!!! whoops! wrong button! so, i'm going to set my positions like so: alright, so i have that almost where i want it,

okay, so now i've got that point where i want it. now, i can just walk over here and just hit "blue point" again, and it'll just transfer it over here. sooooo............. alright, so as you can see, right here we've got these green lines that show exactly where our selection is. alright, so now that i have that, i'm going to hit "plus"(+) again, i'm going to save it as... ???? s c h e m a t i c a t u t o r i a l o, man, i kanot spel todai. tutorial. epic. house. and i'm going to hit "save,"and right down here, you should get a message saying it has successfully saved.

alright, so now that i have that, i'm going to go onto a server, and i'm going to show you what you do from there. you'll typically use this for... um... survival servers but this particular server is... um...... is one in creative, so now, i want to make this right here. so, i'm going to hit "insert," just because that's what i have it set on. if you want to know exactly what equivalent button that is, you can go back in the video and see. so, right here, i have schematica tutorial epic house. i'm going to click that and hit "done." and now, i have this. it's a holographic image. so, let's say that i want it to be facing this way so the door is right here. i'm going to hit "minus"(-). i'm going to hit "rotate" 3 times, and now it's right here. and then i can hit "minus"(-) again, i can make it go up, forward, backward, side to side.....

ummmmmmm....... so i'm going to just keep it right here, and now that i have it where i want it to be.... ummmmm! i can hit "materials," and it'll tell me exactly what i need. soooooo............ i'm just going to grab that. *mumbles and talks to self* alright, so now i have everything that i need, and.... "okay, now where do i start!?this is a super complicated build!"

well! you bring up a great point, random viewer! i'm going to hit "minus" (-), and then, right here it says "all," i'm going to click that and it'll have layers. so i can take baby steps and start out really small amounts at a time, and i have it set so that i can hit the up and down keys to go up layers or to go down. and then you just fill it in like so: so that then you can basically transfer your build over, and now that i've finished that layer, i'm going to go up. and, you can just keep doing this. ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!! one thing you should take note of is that if you're saving a build, you need to be able to have the entire thing rendered at one time. because if the build is too large, then it won't save all of it.

i will not bore you guys with the details here. alright, so, yeah, that's basically all you need to know. um i hope you've enjoyed this video and found it helpful! leave a like in the description, and i hope you enjoyed subscribe if you want, i don't really care. if you really want to, if you feel so inclined to do so, then you may. chead2000, signing off.
