hey everybody, i'm sydney and i'm kendalland welcome to the sassy sister show. today we are going to be making these tinylittle christmas tree cupcakes, which i think are really adorable. alright so first we are going to need to makesome cupcakes to put our cute little trees on so we are going to me making a chocolatefudge cake mix because we are way too lazy to make actual chocolate cake and every timei try to do that it turns out like. and we're going to mix up the chocolate cakemix according to our directions this calls for half a cup of vegetable our, one and aquarter cups of water and three eggs. they just got eaten.
that tickles so much. oh my gosh. my arm has never tickled so terribly. oh my gosh. alright so now we are going to be making thetiny little christmas trees with these chocolate candy melts. so first let's take our small pretzels andlay them out on to a cookie sheet lines with some wax paper. we want to make sure they are far enough apartthat the chocolate wont stick together. make sure you leave a little bit at the bottomwithout any chocolate on it.
okay, this is working pretty good. oh no. my hole is too big. oh gosh. that's not a tree. i'm already getting rid of half of my bagon this one. kendall what did you do? i don't know! tree!
wow. charlie brown. yours are so pretty. well thank you. mine are so poop-y. it's okay, you tried. hey my top ones look better though. they sure do. now we'll stick these in the fridge so theycan cool off and while we do that we're going
to make some frosting for our cupcakes. alright so now we're going to make some buttercreamfrosting, we're just going to put in two sticks of butter. softened butter, not melted. it's not coming out of the paper. there's one, alright you want to get the otherone? yeah. okay, ready? almost.
one more. oh no it's all over the bowl. let me help with the beaters. we're just going to beat this until it isnice and whipped up and fluffy and creamy. beat the crap out of it. now we're going to be adding our powderedsugar. alright we're going to add about three anda half cups. alright so that is about three and a halfcups of powdered sugar, we're going to mix this on low as slow as we can.
alright i'm just going to add a little splashof this milk, a very small amount at a time so we can get just the right consistency.and i guess we should also add our vanilla first. go for it. just do a very little splash. perfect. now's the part where we get powdered sugarall over the place. alright i'm just going to scoop this intoa piping bag you can also use a zip lock but i happen to have these on hand right now sowe're just going to use these.
it's almost pure butter. that it is. awesome look at that! it's so cool. i'm so excited! she's happy. so along with our frosting here we also havesome ready whip because personally i really like whipped cream on cake, tell me if i'mcrazy or not but i think it's really good. kendall which one would you rather do? i'm not good at either of them but if yougive me that one i'm going to eat it, if you
give me that one, i'm going to eat it. okay how about i do the frostings and youdo the trees? and this whipped cream looks more like snow. that's true, it's not as yellow. well it is butter cream. that's dog pee snow. eww! don't eat it. okay we have a little forest of christmastrees on cupcakes!
that's the charlie brown one. you killed that one! tada! i think we need a close up of these. around around around around. look at how cute they are. there, they're so cute! it's like a little forest of happiness! oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree, i wantto eat you whole now.
