after kyoto we went on to our final destination, which was tokyo. on our first day we went to harajuku, which is my favourite part of all of tokyo. it's a wonderful place to visit. takeshita dori really is a shopping heaven, to me personally. it has so many amazing shops, so many amazing accessories and i got quite a big haul that day, so we will start with that. one of the first items i got was a second lolita dress. even though i told myself i wanted to go for a more mature style from here on, i ended up with a sweet lolita dress. it is this dress, which is the pink jumperskirt version of fancy paper dolls. i was a bit nervous when i saw this dress when i wanted to try it on, because it's quite high waisted and sometimes that makes me look really, really short while i'm already really, really short. but when i tried it on i was already wearing a blouse and petticoat, because i was wearing lolita and it looked really nice on me actually! and i kind of fell in love with it.
