now we're still working on the head, and whatwe're doing is we're also looking at body alignment. and what you want to do is, wefirst want to align the body, so that the neck is in direct line with the body. everything'sstraight. make sure the hips are square, the shoulders are square. what you're going todo is you're going to take your fingertips, and you're going to slide them up under thebase of the skull and you're going to elevate the jaw slightly. okay, relax your head. letthe person put all their weight into your fingertips. now at this point, you're goingto pull the fingertips, you're going to pull your fingertips towards you slightly. thisis all the pressure you need. it's the same thing as the sponge into the counter top.you're just doing it, off of three or four
points on two sides. this is a, this is essentiallytraction. so what you're trying to do is you're trying to get the body to relax on its ownand let the body realign itself. and you're going to find sore spots, and these, we'regoing to discuss scaling here in just a second. basic hand traction for the neck.
