diy pencil case

hey everyone in this video i'll be makingthis elephant phone stand which can also be used as a pencil holder for your desk. you don't exactly have to use it for yourpencils, since you can also use it for your phone accessories such as your cases, earphones, charger etc. i'm starting off by cutting out the templatei'll be needing to make this elephant stand. basically all the shapes you'll need is onebasic elephant and then a square, but i'll leave a link to the template i drew in thedescription. i'm then gonna trace this stencil onto somecardboard. there are supposed to be two elephant cutoutsfor the sides, and then three square shaped

cut outs for the back, middle, and bottom. you can use scissors or an x-acto knife tocut out the pieces. using the three square pieces, i'm going toassemble the holder that goes in the center of the elephant. then i'm going to attach this holder to bothsides of the elephant. you can actually paint your elephant beforeassembling all the pieces together, but i decided to paint it after since i found itto be more convenient for me. i then painted on the eyes, mouth, and ears. painting these on your elephant is optional, but i think it makes it look so much cuter.

you can place anything you want in the holder, ranging from things like pens and pencils to even phone cases, and then place your phoneon the elephant's trunk.
